March 25, 2015 Moore Oklahoma Tornado Coverage
We didn't think it would happen again so soon, but it did. As we watched live coverage from SkyNews9 of a tornado ripping through the OKC metro, our hearts sank when we heard the words "it's headed to Moore".
Covering the tornado outbreak of May 2013 was an experience I will never forget. Stories of loss, heartache, recovery, and greed filled the airwaves for months. We thought it was over. We were wrong.
After covering a press conference all day with all the major networks in town, my reporter and I got sent to Moore just moments after the storm had passed.
Below, in chronological order, is our LIVE coverage from that day.
NOTE: We had horrible cell coverage after the tornado went through. My reporter was unable to connect to our IFB system, so I had to cue him for each shot we did.
